Pre-season eBay round-up!

I know it's only the 6th August and for most people it's way too early to be thinking about Autumn and Winter trends, but for the savvy shopper it's the perfect time to be thinking ahead and purchasing items on eBay before people catch on to the new season trends and the prices sky rocket! All the big players in fashion are talking about Autumn/Winter before Spring/Summer has even started, so by this time in the year the shops are starting to get their new stock in and the magazines are starting to talk about the latest trends.

EBay doesn't have to be about second hand or used items, there are many people out there who impulse buy and the items end up in their wardrobe unworn and with the tags firmly still attached. Ok, Ok, I admit it, I used to be one of those people! Call me a reformed shopaholic! Where do these people go to try and recoup some of that wasted money? eBay of course! Which is great for savvy shoppers who can get a brand new bargain at a fraction of the original price!

Each week I'll pick three trends and outline my favourite picks! So, without further ado, here's my weekly run down of some of the best eBay buys for the new season.

Houndstooth/Dogstooth:
Monochrome is back for Autumn/Winter 13/14 and with it comes a classic monochrome print, houndstooth. Personally I think that a small houndstooth print is most suited to the office and a classic suit, but for a trendier look a larger print is right on target and makes a statement. Here are a few eBay picks:

High necklines:
It seems that high necklines are in this season, who needs a scarf eh? I think a big statement neckline could help break this look up a bit, especially if you're a bit busty!

Pretty in Pink:
Pink is splashed all over Vogue and the internet this week, and the big winner for Autumn/Winter is a pale frosty pink, cupcake style (yum)! The catwalks were showing lots of garments in pink, with a particular emphasis on pink outerwear. Great for girly types like me, but even if you're not tickled pink about it, there are still ways to incorporate it into your wardrobe.
